The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports and the University of Ioannina are joining forces by signing a strategically important Programmatic Agreement titled: “Creation of Research Infrastructure, Processing of Research Data, and Dissemination of Results from International Educational Research.”
This collaboration marks a new era for educational research in our country, focusing on the valuable insights provided by international programs, particularly the PISA program.

From Analysis to Action

Our Initiatives​

Support for Teachers and Students

• We create digital educational materials and guides for teachers (and parents) that provide methodologies and techniques to strengthen students’ skills in reading, mathematics, and scientific problem-solving.

• We create Open Educational Resources (e.g., simulations, dynamic diagrams) to support schools.

• We implement professional development programs in the PISA subject areas to support teachers and enhance their proficiency.

Communication and Dissemination

• We created this website as a central point of reference.

• We adapt and make available to the public reliable research, informational, educational, and training materials from international organizations.

Digital Tools for Everyone

• We are creating a PISA-style question bank with more than 380 questions in the areas of reading, mathematics, science, finance, media and AI.

• We are developing an interactive simulation environment for the PISA study, enabling students and teachers to familiarize themselves with the study’s topics and methodology.

• We are developing a dynamic tool for visualizing PISA results from 2000 to the present, enabling comparisons and analyses in an innovative way.

In-Depth Data Analysis

• We conduct specialized analyses of PISA data to gain an in-depth understanding of the knowledge, skills, and challenges faced by 15-year-old students in Greece.
